We would like to take this time to congratulate Jeri Blum, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD on her election as the 2020-2022 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Council (SLPAC) representing New York!
As an Advisory Council member, Jeri is responsible for identifying and discussing issues of concern to members and providing information on these issues to ASHA’s Board of Directors, as well as providing recommendations for the Board’s consideration in determining possible future programs and services to be developed and/or supported by Association resources.

Jeri Weinstein Blum, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD is the Director of EBS Therapy of New York where she manages EBS’s Bay Ridge clinic, oversees the NYCDOE Assessment contract for EBS, organizes the continuing education events for employees and performs recruitment and outreach activities for field based and clinic employees. She completed her B.S. at Sargent College, Boston University, and M.S. at Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and her Advanced Certificate in Non-Profit Management at Long Island University- Brooklyn. Ms. Blum previously held clinical positions at numerous area hospitals and clinics and was Director of the Speech-Language and Hearing Center at Beth Israel Medical Center and Director of the Downtown Brooklyn Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic at Long Island University. She is currently the Speech/Language Pathology representative for New York on the ASHA Advisory Council. Ms. Blum has also previously held positions on the New York State Speech Language and Hearing Association’s Executive Council and served as Vice President of the New York Metropolitan Council of Academic Clinic Directors.
