EBS Leader Wins Prestigious Speech-Language Pathology Award

West Chester, August 7, 2017 – EBS (Educational Based Services) is proud to announce that EBS Leadership Team Member, Ann Glaser, M.S., CCC-SLP, has received the 2017 Dr. Margaret M. Roberts Leadership Award presented from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

This award, given annually, recognizes a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist for significant contributions and leadership, which have benefited and promoted consumer protection in the field of Communication Science and Disorders.

“I am proud to congratulate Ann for receiving this well-deserved award,” says EBS President, Mark Stubits. “Ann embodies everything we value in an EBS leader and it’s great to see her recognized for being the tremendous gift she is to the field. She has the knowledge, experience, and most importantly, the desire to help others grow and be the best clinicians they can be,” adds Stubits.

Ms. Glaser joined EBS following a distinguished career in education and her time as Editor-in-Chief for SpeechPathology.com. She believes that the most impactful way she can give back is through the EBS Mentorship, Training, and University Outreach Programs. These programs help clinicians gain access to the most comprehensive support, training, and mentorship available in the field. Ms. Glaser works hard to help EBS deliver on its promise to help clinicians increase their knowledge as professionals, strengthen their skills as clinicians, and broaden the range of possibilities for their advancement. Her involvement with these programs benefits a broad range of individuals in all stages of their careers from university student to seasoned clinician, and she finds that truly gratifying.

Ms. Glaser earned her MS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has been a leader in the field of Speech-Language Pathology for more than four decades. While a professor at Miami University, she was recognized for her exceptional teaching performance and conferred Professor Emerita status upon her retirement. Ms. Glaser has published numerous articles, co-authored three books, and presented over 400 seminars at regional, state and national conferences. Her many accolades include the Honors and Fellow of the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association (OSLHA), the Nancy McKinley Leadership Award, and four terms on the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
