EBS Healthcare
“My EBS journey began 11 years ago. I was supervising a graduate student who was completing her final externship. On her last day, she came into my office to tell me she had interviewed with EBS and had decided to work for them. When she told me more about her interactions with EBS, I told her what she had been told was probably “too good to be true” and that I wanted to talk to someone at this company in order to ask them some difficult questions she may not have thought to ask. To make a long story short, we BOTH went to work for EBS. Up until then, I had spent the last 20 years as a speech-language pathologist in the schools, a private practitioner, and a school administrator, and I had always loved my jobs and my professional choices. However, my experience with EBS Healthcare has been far above and beyond what I had ever before experienced professionally.
EBS encouraged me to think outside the box. EBS encouraged me to explore new avenues within the field of speech-language pathology. EBS gave me the ability and the support to think big and shoot for the stars! Over the years, I am proud to have helped EBS become one of the leading providers of ASHA and AOTA approved continuing education activities in the nation. EBS continues to lead the field to a whole new level, providing education courses that are timely, evidence-based and led by instructors who are leaders in the field today.
My passion for teaching, consulting, and collaborating with other professionals for the betterment of children with communication disorders has been supported, mentored, encouraged, and applauded. I have become an author and public speaker thanks to EBS Healthcare and the encouragement they provide. The sky is the limit at EBS, tempered only by the limits of my imagination. When I found EBS, I found not only my professional home and the platform for my passion, but also my family and my guiding light. At EBS, we really do make a difference every day!”
